These pass-through chambers are designed for installation in a fire-rated cleanroom or laboratory wall. They allow transfer of materials into and out of the controlled environment, and their rugged interlock mechanism offers high reliability with no maintenance.

Fire-Rated Access Doors

Each chamber features a 2.56" (65 mm) -thick, uninsulated 304 stainless steel access panel (door) with a pull handle. Its one-inch exposed flange can be mounted on any typical wall material. These modules bear a UL- listed “B" label for 1.5 hours in walls (maximum temperature rise to 250°F (121°C) in 30 minutes). Each self-closing door is fabricated of 304 stainless steel and includes a flush continuous piano hinge and opening knob.

Two stainless steel chamber designs are available. CleanSeam models feature continuous-seam welds, minimizing the chance of particle influx and making them easy to clean and sterilize.

These chambers feature double-wall stainless steel construction and polished ceramic glass viewing windows, in accord with fire safety requirements

Their smooth design eliminates lips that can collect particles or impede transfer of materials in and out of the cleanroom. Models are available with electropolished surfaces to meet the most stringent cleanroom requirements.

Interlocks Ensure Cleanroom Integrity
All models come with mechanical interlocks on a standard basis. These no-maintenance devices require no power or other service lines and are highly reliable. As soon as the handle on either of the doors is opened, the facing door becomes inoperable, preventing the possibility of cross-contamination.
