This 304 stainless steel enclosure provides the perfect particle-free environment for sensitive work-in-process.
Made of 304 stainless steel, it features dual locking doors with transparent windows that afford full visibility of stored contents. Select windows of acrylic or static-dissipative PVC, a durable, chemical-resistant material that protects parts against static charges and the particles they attract.
Class 10 Particle-Free Environment
The WIP cabinet's open-cage design facilitates the vertical laminar flow of particle free air through the storage area. Select a filter/fan unit (FFU) for a contamination-free storage environment that meets Class 10 cleanliness standards (per FED-STD-209). Patented baffling technology ensures uniform airflow across the filter face and attenuates sound for the lowest noise level in the industry: approximately 53 dBA. Select HEPA filter, rated 99.99% efficient @ 0.3 micron particles, or ULPA filter, rated 99.9995% efficient @ 0.128 micron particles. Ionizing modules are also available to control static charges and the particles they attract.
Versatile Shelves Accommodate Variety of Part Sizes
The standard cabinet comes with three reinforced 304 stainless steel shelves, which feature .75"-diameter perforations to optimize the vertical laminar airflow. The bottom shelf is fixed 17" above the floor; the other two are easy to adjust at 1" increments to suit your part sizes.
