Sneeze Guard
— Cleanroom Accessories from Terra Universal
The Sneeze Guard™ is used in hybrid assembly, research and development, testing, inspection, and all other microelectronics operations that involve microscopes. It hangs at the proper angle on most microscope eyepieces, shielding the work stage against contaminants emanating from the operator. Tests have shown that it functions as effectively as a face mask, without the inconvenience and expense.
The Sneeze Guard™ is available in both acrylic and Static-Dissipative PVC. The acrylic Sneeze Guard™ is economical, and in time generates a static charge that actually attracts contaminants, making this unit in effect a "contamination magnet."
The Static-Dissipative PVC model features a surface resistivity of 106-108
