This inexpensive filter capsule houses a dual-pleated poly-tetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) filtering element that maximizes the retention of particle contaminants. Polypropylene supports guarantee the strength and durability of the unit. The filter also features .25" ID inlet/outlet fittings for easy attachment to gas lines and all Terra desiccator cabinets and accessories.

All materials are cleanroom safe, and the complete fusion welding eliminates adhesives that could contaminate the gas supply. Dual upstream vents guarantee the safety of your storage system by preventing blow-offs and subsequent leakage that might result if the unit were to become clogged. And because each filter is flushed before shipment and packaged in a clean, polyolefin bag, you're assured the cleanliness you ordered.

The filter material is hydrophobic and is therefore able to maintain specified air flow rates despite water condensation. In aqueous liquid filtration applications, the filter cartridge must be pre-wetted with a non-aqueous fluid such as isopropyl alcohol to initiate aqueous fluid flow. It is resistant to most semiconductor process fluids.
