These environmental chambers combine 40 years of manufacturing
experience with several significant innovations and engineering
advances, resulting in the most exacting control of temperature and
humidity available.
Versatile Designs Accommodate Broad
Range of Applications
They are ideally suited to critical demands that require exacting
control and adaptability. Typical applications include B.O.D.
(biochemical oxygen demand) testing, genetic studies, shelf
life testing, electronic breakdown testing, tissue culture
studies, chromatography tests, growth chamber studies, and
drug stability tests.
They are also recommended for a wide range of microelectronics
and semiconductor applications. Low-temperature, low-humidity
models help retard chemical processes (such as oxidation)
and are thus ideal for extending shelf lives of sensitive
stored materials. High-humidity and above-ambient temperature
models are well suited to failure testing components under
conditions that approximate real-world extremes.
Construction
The exterior is constructed of sturdy 20 gauge galvanized steel, with a white powder coat finish. All sides feature environmentally safe, CFC-free foam insulation to ensure stable internal temperature. The interior of the chamber is easy to maintain, corrosion resistant stainless steel. All units include 6 adjustable epoxy-coated shelves per door opening, which will facilitate various sample sizes.
Choose from standard solid doors for light sensitive applications, or optional glass doors for better viewing. Heated doors help eliminate condensation.
Standard equipment includes an RS485 data output, high/low safety alarms, door open/power out alarm, a 2” access port for external monitoring, a 120V internal power outlet, and a key lock for security.
Programmable Controls
Temperature and humidity are user selected with a 21-step, password protected programmable controller, which comes standard with each chamber. Precise digital temperature set point with an easy-to-read LED display.
All models are refrigerated, with a temperature range of 4°C to 70°C; select models include humidity controls and/or chart recorder.
