These carts are fabricated of tough, chemical-resistant, high-density polyethylene, an extremely resilient polyolefin that provides excellent chemical resistance across a wide range of substances (including most acids and bases).

The top shelf of the standard models feature an integral one-piece handle with no mounting hardware to come loose or trap contaminants. Deep ledge carts feature shelves with a 2.75" deep ledge to contain product and spills. Wrap-up rails make for safe transport of materials carried on top of the cart, and corners are rounded for easy cleaning. This shelf is tough enough to support heavy loads, yet it won't chip or dent as can some metals. The four posts are nickel-chrome plated steel; casters are 4" stem-mounted with soft rubber donut treads and Celcon bearings for smooth, quiet operation. Height: standard carts 33.25"; deep ledge carts 41". Capacity: 150 lbs. per shelf, 400 lbs per unit.

Antimicrobial product protection is available in carts that feature built-in Microban® formulation which inhibits the growth of bacteria, mold and mildew. Construction is otherwise identical to the polyethylene-only carts. Microban® carts are available in blue only.
