Paramount Filtered Enclosures

• Self-contained workstations use carbon filters to remove organic solvents, formaldehyde, acid gases or ammonia (order carbon filters separately)
• Duet models include carbon and HEPA filters for safe removal of vapors and particulates
• Air-mixing rear baffle extends filter life, ensures safe and rapid fume removal and distributes an even concentration of contaminants to the filters for uniform loading
• Air foil directs airflow into the hood to ensure fume containment
• Two-position tempered-glass safety sash is angled to allow closer, more comfortable viewing without glare
• Fluorescent light provides interior illumination (replaceable from the front)

Paramount Filtered Enclosures provide safe removal of many solvents and vapors. Unlike traditional fume hoods, they require no ducting. A built-in blower provides quiet, non-sparking, corrosion-resistant operation (72" models include two blowers). Sides and sash are made of 3/16"-thick tempered safety glass that won’t discolor or craze like plastic. The frame is glacier white, dry powder epoxy-coated aluminum. A programming touchpad and two built-in timers allow the user to program the filter check and change times through the LCD. Alert messages appear after the user-specified number of hours has elapsed.

Paramount Duet Enclosures

All models include a two-position safety-glass sash, which provides 100 fpm face velocity in the down (13" opening) position, and 80 fpm face velocity in the up (15" opening) position. Convenient utility ports allow passage of tubing and electrical cords from equipment inside the enclosure through the back for easy service connection. Order filters, work surface and base separately.
