These
opposing doors feature 304 stainless steel door tracks
mounted flush with the wall on the cleanroom side
(tracks on other side protrude above front edge of
chamber). The viewing windows are available in any
of the materials listed on the ordering chart below.

Chamber Separately.
Pass-through
chambers equipped with these doors include all necessary
mounting hardware; no additional brackets are necessary.
Note: Door tracks of counterweighted sliding doors are 304
stainless steel (electropolished with electropolished
pass-throughs). Viewing windows are made of the material
specified for the pass-through ordered. No mounting
brackets are necessary for installation on the cleanroom
side (vertical tracks are mounted flush with walls).
However, one set of brackets is recommended for the
"dirty-side" wall. Sliding doors must be
ordered together with the chamber—they cannont
be retrofitted.

Removable
Shelves
Can
be adjusted on electropolished stainless steel wire
racks. Stainless steel shields, mounted to the bottom
of the chamber, prevent scratching of plastic pass-throughs.

304 Stainless
Steel Doors
Extend
the service life of plastic and laminate pass-throughs.
They lend added strength to the parts of a pass-through
that receive the most wear, thereby protecting your
cleanroom investment. An important feature in a production
environment!

(1)
Floor Mount models include low-profile access ramps for easy
transport of carts (subtract 1" from internal vertical
clearance to compensate for ramps)
(2) Pass-through chamber must be ordered together with sliding door (cannot be retrofitted) . Sliding
doors require vertical overhead clearance equal to the door
height, so 36"H model should be mounted no closer than
36" below the cleanroom ceiling.
(3) Includes mounting brackets. Mounting brackets, included, are made of stainless
steel. All brackets require 1/4" clearance between wall
cutout and pass-throughs. Standard mounting is 2" from
the front of the cleanroom side (specify other desired location).
For electropolishing,
add "-2" to the part number and $75 to the price.
(4) Shields are recommended in all plastic pass-through to prevent
scratching. Racks allow adjustable shelf placement and are required
for use with shelves (their price includes installation). For
electropolishing, add "-2" to the part number and
30% to the price (standard racks are electroplolished). |

that one door of the pass-through always remains closed,
thereby minimizing the risk of cleanroom contamination

Filtered Air Shower
Fits
on top of any Terra Pass-Through 18"D or larger. Includes
ON/OFF status light and door sensor switch (for connection
to "dirty" side access door).
Standard
housing material is 304 stainless steel; other materials
are also available. Price includes installation on
specified pass-through chamber.

CleanTop™
304 Stainless Steel Sloping Top
In most applications, pass-throughs extend only 2”
into a cleanroom to minimize clearance requirements
and surfaces that could collect particles. The CleanTop
is designed for installations that require the chamber
to be centered in the wall. The 30° sloping top
on clean room side minimizes particles and accommodates
laminar flow.
Available
for stainless steel pass-throughs of 18", 24"
and 36" overall depth.
Price is for CleanTop feature only; order Pass-Through Chamber separately. Both must be specified on the same order (CleanTop cannot be retrofitted). |
