Tube Furnace
from Thermo Scientific
- Tube furnace features temperature range from 100°C to 1200°C (212°F to 2192°F)
- Includes two interchangeable vestibule ends (1" and 2" diameter) to accommodate tubes up to 2" in diameter
- Manual control or single setpoint control available
- Chamber operates remotely or in horizontal, angular or vertical positions
- Tube Furnaces are ideal for growing electronic crystals, doping silicon wafers, and many other microelectronics applications
This tube furnace features heating elements embedded in ceramic fiber insulation to provide fast heat-up and cool-down, and recovery times; it is capable of reaching 1000°C (1830°F) in just 22 minutes. The manual stepless input control maintains ± 3% control stability and has an accuracy of ± 15° at 1060°C (± 30° at 1940°F). The controller automatically compensates for line voltage and ambient temperature changes, and the dual scale pyrometer provides readout in °C (0 to 1200) and °F (32 to 2200).
Electronic single setpoint control enables you to heat up to one single setpoint level and hold that setpoint temperature. This microprocessor control also features adjustable over-temperature protection, sensor break protection, and digital readout of both setpoint and furnace temperature.
Its upper and lower cases occupy minimal bench space and feature a two-tone baked-on enamel finish; the perforated stainless steel case provides a cool exterior. Comes with a three-wire cord and plug; Terra recommends power conditioning or a non-interruptible power supply. The furnace is not supplied with a tube. |
