They hold their tip geometry better than any metal tweezers. Solder will not adhere to their completely nonmagnetic surface, and they are microwave sterilizable. The ceramic tips do not slough or outgas and act as thermal insulators, making these tweezers ideal for soldering. Replacement tip kits come with 2 tips, 4 screws, 4 washers and a screwdriver.
