Terra's safety shower combines easy, reliable operation with
a fully enclosed design that enhances safety both inside and
outside the shower area.
The polypropylene shell resists most laboratory acids and corrosives.
By shielding the shower on three sides, it minimizes the chance
of the water spray—or of harmful chemical splashes—affecting
parts or personnel outside the shower. The vinyl strip curtain
on the front is easily parted for quick entry into the enclosure.
This design eliminates the tricky task of fumbling with a door
latch in an emergency situation.
The pass-through design, which includes parting curtains on
opposing sides, can be installed in a wall or hallway connecting
two labs to allow fast, easy access from either facility.
All eye rinser hardware is zinc-plated. The standard overhead
nozzle height is 78" off the shower floor; the eye rinsers
are positioned 42" off the floor. The shower comes complete
with PVC plumbing that connects to your in-house water supply
by means of a 1.25" ID pipe fitting. The sloping bottom
feeds into a 2.5" drain line. |
