Specialty Plastics
Terra’s specialty plastics line includes polyvinylchloride (PVC), acrylic, polycarbonate, and polypropylene with key application advantages, including static dissipation, chemical resistance, and fire resistance. Static-dissipative plastics feature durable, solvent-welded dissipative layers that won’t rub off or outgas, making them safe for cleanroom use. PVC: Static-Dissipative

This material offers surface resistivity between 106 and 108 ohms/square, providing safe, effective dissipation of static charges to ground. Nearly transparent, it also provides excellent chemical resistance.

 

PVC: Flexible Dissipative

Like the standard Static-Dissipative PVC Plating, this material provides excellent static protection, yet its flexibility makes it ideal for many applications for which standard plating would be unsuitable.

High-Performance Plastics

High-performance plastics include acrylic, polypropylene, polycarbonate and PVC in fire-resistant and static-dissipative formulations. Can be specified for use in any Terra desiccator, glove box or other plastic enclosure, or specified as single sheets.
