The Porta-Wand™ Kit is ideal for handling wafers, disk media or any item with a flat, hard surface. It easily lifts over 500 grams, and an internal exhaust filter ensures better-than-Class 1 performance. Exhaust exits the tool at rear, away from the wafer. A single pushbutton provides easy on/off control.

Standard features include a fixed internal rechargeable 9.6V NiMH battery for versatile, cordless operation, an in-stand 24 VDC charger, and one molded wafer tip (see below). It operates continuously for about 3 to 4 hours between charges; a low-battery indicator flashes red when the battery needs to be recharged. An internal air filter is replaceable from the front of the tool, and an internal exhaust filter ensures better-than-Class 1 performance. Weight: less than 5 ounces (142 g.).

Replacement Wafer Tips
Molded from ESD-safe plastic to handle wafers up to 100°C. Low-profile tip head provides easy access to wafers in industry standard boats.
