Medical-grade filters and medical filtration systems include a HEPA filtration design that is designed to yield breathable, non-contaminated air. Unlike industrial or equipment-based filters for vacuums and equipment pumps, medical-grade filters are designed to reintroduce and recirculate extremely clean air back into the environment. Importantly, medical-grade filters must also prevent contamination that is introduced from the filter itself. Thus medical-grade filters do not use fiberglass filter media, which can introduce microscopic fiberglass particles into the air stream.

Medical Grade HEPA Filtration Fan Filter Units

HEPA filters remove 99.97% of airborne particles greater than, or equal to 0.3μm in diameter. HEPA fan filter units are common for contamination and air quality control for industries including pharmaceuticals, medical devices, OEM assembly, healthcare, life sciences, infection control, and laboratory or testing environments.

Medical Grade ULPA Fan Filter Units

ULPA filters are 99.999% efficient for monodispersed particles 0.12 μm in diameter or larger. ULPA filtration offers additional particulate control for ultra-sensitive hardware including display panels, wafer chips, micro-optics, satellite imaging, and nanotechnology applications.

UL-Listed HEPA Fan Filter Units (Ceiling Mounted)

Terra's UL-listed, WhisperFlow® HEPA Fan Filter Units (FFUs) are manufactured to the highest standards to reduce the risk of damage, injuries, and electrical hazards. Terra's HEPA filtration systems are deployed in a variety of packages and installation methods including ceiling mount (t-grid), portable standalone systems, and in-cabinet mounting or systems that require clean, positive-pressure enclosures to help dry items inside and prevent contaminated air from entering the cabinet.

Portable HEPA Filtration Systems for Hospitals and Customer Areas

Portable HEPA Filtration Systems with UV-C Lighting

WhisperFlow® Portable HEPA Filtration Systems With UV-C are medical-grade HEPA air filter systems ideal for clinics, waiting rooms, hospital emergency rooms, schools, courthouses, and other confined areas without access to open windows for outdoor air circulation.

Battery-Powered HEPA Filtration Carts

Smart® EC Fan Filter Units with battery backup power keep your FFU running long enough to safely store away contamination-sensitive materials, shut down work-in-progress, and/or switch to a backup power generator. Handy and convenient, the Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) provides up to 120 min of FFU battery power when you need it, and wall charging when you don't.

ValuLine™ Mobile Laminar Flow Cabinets with uninterrupted power supplies (UPS) are ideal for transporting particle-laden or particle-sensitive materials such as sterile equipment, medical devices, and pre-packaged sterile goods to ensure that critical supplies and garments remain in a safe and contamination-free environment during transport or storage. When integrated with emergency backup battery FFUS, the system provides up to 120 min of FFU battery power when you need it, and a wall charging port to replenish the battery when depleted.

UV Sanitation Cabinets & ULPA Filter Vacuums

UV Sanitizing Storage Cabinets with Far-UVC Germicidal Lamps

UV sanitizing storage cabinets offer clean, easy-access storage and an overhead UVC light sanitation lamp for storing items that are not easily disinfected with typical chemicals or detergents.

A germicidal UV-C lamp protects against the growth of bacteria, mold, and viruses, including COVID-19. Terra's germicidal lamps include Far-UVC technology, which is recognized by the FDA to efficiently and safely inactivate airborne human coronaviruses. UV-C lamps mounted at the top left and right inside the cabinet sterilize air throughout the chamber when storing PPE, tools, wipes, process equipment, and other materials. For compatible materials, UV sterilization is a simpler decontamination process that can minimize unnecessary wear, water damage, micro-tears, or shrinkage.
