Non-shedding, barrel-type door hinges allow the doors to lift off for thorough cleaning and decontamination (no tools required). Unlike industry standard continuous designs, these hinges comply with strict ISO levels.

CleanSeam™ Pass-Throughs feature fully welded, seamless interiors, to eliminate hard-to-clean cracks and crevices that can harbor contaminants. The continuous-seam welds are ground smooth to simplify cleaning and sterilization.

Terra’s automatic mechanical interlock prevents cross-contamination by allowing one door to be open at a time. Encased in stainless steel, the mechanism is rated for millions of operations, more than enough to last the lifetime of the pass-through.

Seemingly small details like latches, ports, glides and hinges are often overlooked or ignored by other manufacturers, and later become the point of costly recurring maintenance or equipment failure. Doors on professional-grade pass-through chambers are reinforced with stainless steel frames, which lend rigidity, improve the seal, and extend the service life of the doors.

The white, “e”-shaped gasket provides a flexible seal that will not creep or deform over time. The gasket is made of a non-outgassing, thermoplastic elastomer that is resistant to harsh chemicals and extreme temperatures.
