Remove moisture using nitrogen or reusable desiccant packets in Terra's plastic desiccator cabinets, When using nitrogen purge, controls can be programmed to achieve set-points automatically. Recovery time after doors are opened is minimized. Select from materials that meet ISO cleanliness levels: economical acrylic offers excellent clarity, or static-dissipative PVC reduces electro-static discharge. Amber-tinted materials also protect light-sensitive samples. As plastic materials are hygroscopic, these chambers may not be appropriate for long-term storage of items that require less than 10% RH.
Stainless Steel Desiccators
Steel desiccator cabinets are available in single-chamber and multi-chamber designs. Connected to a source of process gas, they provide a sturdy storage area for your moisture-sensitive parts. Choose from automatic RH control that streamines workflow, to cabinets with locking doors that prevent unauthorized access. Stainless steel is cleanroom-compatible and resists damage from common cleaning agents, ensuring that your ISO requirements are met. Stainless steel provides a solid moisture barrier for storage down to 0% relative humidity.
Terra designs and manufactures plastic desiccators for low-humidity storage of semiconductor components, bio-pharmaceutical powders, medical devices, and other moisture-sensitive materials
Stainless Steel Desiccators (Dry Boxes) from Terra include designs with multiple doors, single- and double-walls, one to eight chambers, and RH control systems
