IsoDry™ Desiccators provide state-of-the-art, patent-pending humidity-control technology to reduce moisture-related degradation of semiconductor components, electronics, medical devices, pharmaceutical powders, and other sensitive materials.

Each cabinet employs a gas dilution module that continuously mixes the internal environment with clean, dry nitrogen. A variable-flow humidity control system initiates a high flow of pure nitrogen the second an access door is opened or the internal environment exceeds the user-programmed sub-ambient humidity set point. Nitrogen efficiently dilutes and purges moisture from the cabinet, quickly restoring set-point conditions before moisture can affect stored parts. Once doors are closed and the system recovers set-point conditions, the system reverts to an economical low-flow purge (adjustable via the system flowmeter) to conserve nitrogen.

Extensive testing demonstrates how this design produces superior RH uniformity, recovery times, and nitrogen efficiency when compared to other control techniques, including Terra’s NitroPlex controller, at much lower initial cost.

Recirculation module ensures humidify uniformity throughout the cabinet.

Status alerts built into the IsoDry Control System warn if incoming nitrogen line pressure falls below operational rates (signaling an interruption in the gas supply) or if the system remains in high-flow purge for an excessive period (signaling a door left ajar).

The high-efficiency IsoDry design ensures that your desiccator cabinet maintains the conditions you specify, even during periods of frequent access or very high ambient humidity. Each time a part is accessed and a door closed, the system recovers your target humidity level in a fraction of the time required by a flowmeter or other conventional control system. This reduced recovery time eliminates the risk of moisture-related damage to even the most sensitive materials.
