Summary

  • Estimated On-Site Assembly
  • Terra Universal will supply authorized representatives to assemble or supervise assembly of the Air-Shower(s).
  • Required Installation Equipment (Not Included):
  • At least one (1) forklift – Unloading crates from the shipping vehicle will be much easier if you have a truckhigh loading dock.
  • One (1) 2”x4” wooden stud long enough to span the bottom width of the Air Shower/Tunnel
  • Four (4) 2”x4” wood blocks - portable drills and screwdrivers
  • A measuring tape to make sure everything is flush and square
  • Floor anchor bolts (optional)
  • Client is responsible for the below site preparation:
  • Verify that the floor on which the unit will operate is flat, level, and adequately supported. Shimming may be required if the floor is not level. Failure to level the floor may result in the inability to complete the assembly of the Air Shower/Tunnel.
  • Mark a rectangle on the floor to indicate the perimeter of the air shower. Verify right angles by checking the diagonal dimensions with a measuring tape.
  • The technical staff and travel cost estimates above are estimates. Since site conditions, work efficiency on a particular site, additional time due to customer, material or facility delays and estimating errors are unknown, actual staff and travel expenses are charged.
  • Estimated assembly costs are due prior to shipment and any additional costs billed after installation are due before additional work begins.
  • The assembly estimate includes assembling components, connection to customer-supplied utility services and operational testing or supervision of the above services performed by customer-supplied install team.
  • Unless otherwise specified, estimated cost does not include moving components to the installation site, opening crates, unpacking cartons and pallets, removing and disposing of packing materials, utility connections, performing particle count, airflow or air pressure testing, airflow balancing or certification, plans, permits, plumbing, sprinklers and flooring.
  • Travel and work days are up to 8 hours and are billed in half-day increments. Per Diem costs are charged at the rates shown on the GSA web site for your location. See: https://www.gsa.gov/perdiem
  • All trash, packing materials, and debris associated with cleanroom installation must be disposed by the customer.
  • The state of California has determined that assembly of most Terra products is "taxable labor", subject to sales taxes in the state of California.
  • Terra Universal is not responsible for any consequential damages or loss of revenue resulting from performance issues or delays in cleanroom manufacturing or installation.
  • For a complete list of services, please refer to Terra Universal's installation/service agreement.
