Lift-Off, Non-Shedding Door Hinges
Non-shedding, barrel-type door hinges allow the doors to lift off for thorough cleaning and decontamination (no tools required). Unlike industry standard continuous designs, these hinges comply with strict ISO levels.
Non-Outgassing Bio-Seal
The BioSafe® pass-through door design features a non-outgassing polyurethane seal, potted flush with the interior door surface, that seats against a raised edge.
Installing conventional passthroughs can be very messy, making it impossible to perform while a cleanroom is operational. Terra’s innovative CleanMount® fastening system changes that, allowing for clean installation without drilling or penetrating the cleanroom wall. Framing a CleanMount® passthrough chamber on a finished cut-out eliminates the need for cleanroom shut-down during installation or service.

UV Sanitizing Module
Provides a timed cycle of 254 nm Ultra-Violet (UV) radiation to neutralize bacteria, viruses and mold spores within line-of-sight of the light fixture.
Adding a duct flange to the top of the passthrough allows the chamber to be ventilated by a remote blower. The ULPA-filtered inlet, housed in a perforated stainless steel cage, provides the necessary make-up air without contaminating the chamber.
Infrared Load Sensor
Infrared beams detect objects placed inside the transfer chamber and connect to a remote alarm located up to 200 feet away from the pass through chamber. The crossed red lines depict the non-visible trigger lines between the IR transmitters and receivers.
Prevent operator damage! A green light bar indicates the door is available for use, with the electronic interlock disengaged. The bar turns red when the opposing door is open to indicate the electronic interlock is engaged.
Wireless Door Alert
Alarm bell rings when its assigned door is open (two bells per chamber); plugs into a standard wall outlet.
Support Brackets for Pass-Through Chambers
Stainless steel support brackets are recommended for pass-throughs deeper than 24". Brackets fasten to the wall and the body of the chamber rests upon the horizontal bar; no fasteners are used on the pass-through itself.
