Terra's BioSafe® double-sided cleanroom garment hamper helps streamline disposal of soiled garments in high-traffic cleanrooms and labs. Cleanroom-friendly design features non-shedding, cleanroom-compatible materials.
Create a custom garment collection station as an island or adjacent to a wall. Two compartments allows for easy access from both sides, and the ability to assign different types of materials for each container.
Stainless steel construction is suitable for heavy-duty, sterile, and ESD-safe applications. Provides easy to clean corrosion-resistant surfaces that holds up to sterilization with harsh biocides, including isopropyl alcohol.
Continuous-seam welds eliminate hard-to-clean cracks, crevices, and partial welds where particles and germs can accumulate.
Rounded corners and edges simplify cleaning and reduce particulates shed caused by wipes or garments scraping against rough edges.
Foot pedal is connected to a concealed heavy-duty lever assembly to raise and lower the lid. The lever components are comprised of rigid 16ga stainless steel 1/2" square tubes that will not warp or bend from heavy use.
PNEUMATIC SOFT-CLOSING LID:
Self-closing lid with pneumatic gas-springs gently floats shut to eliminate loud jarring noise and minimize turbulent airflow that can kick-up contaminating particles.
Slow-close design also gives more time for multiple users to get additional waste inside container without constantly applying force to pedal.
Industrial-grade stainless steel gas springs are designed for applications requiring a high degree of corrosion resistance. Tested from -40° to +300° F and have surpassed 125,000 strokes in a test lab environment.
Contoured tight-fitting lid helps contain particulates and odors from leaking out.
HASSLE-FREE HINGES:
BioSafe® lid design features reliable, low maintenance, and barely noticeable pivot hinges on either side of the lid. These simple yet efficient hinges minimize cracks and crevices where contaminating particles can generate or accumulate. By comparison, conventional waste receptacles with hinged lids may use continuous "piano" style hinges, which are problematic in cleanroom environments. The countless cracks and crevices make a continuous hinge very difficult to clean, generate metal dust particulates from friction, and require periodic lubrication to maintain functionality.

Optional rolling casters create a portable solution with effortless mobility to help clean under and around the station.
