- Fan Filter Unit Extended Warranty
- Terra’s extended warranty ensures continued performance of Terra-manufactured fan filter units and eligible components beyond the standard factory warranty period.
- • Coverage Period: Parts coverage for 2 years from the date of shipment.
- • Scope: Applies to Terra-manufactured mechanical and electrical components of the fan filter unit.
- Exclusions: This warranty does not cover:
- • Damage resulting from accidents, misuse, improper installation, or unauthorized modifications.
- • Use of non-Terra replacement parts.
- • Environmental conditions or force majeure events.
- • HEPA/ULPA filters and other consumable filtration media, including defects, performance degradation, or damage. Filters are highly sensitive components and may be affected by handling, installation, and shipping conditions; therefore, they are expressly excluded from warranty coverage.
- Filter Integrity and Performance Certification (Optional):
- To reduce risk and ensure filter performance prior to installation, Terra offers an optional Filter Integrity and Performance Certification service.
- Filters selected with this service are individually tested and documented to confirm they meet performance specifications before leaving our facility.
- If a verified filter is found to be defective upon delivery, customers must notify Terra within 30 days of receipt. Verified issues may qualify for replacement at Terra’s discretion.
- Additional Terms:
- • Warranty is non-transferable and valid only for the original purchaser
- • Services listed on a quote at zero quantity are not included in the total price or warranty coverage
