The design includes a second roof installed above the cleanroom ceiling, creating a shared recirculation plenum. Facility-supplied conditioned air is delivered into this common overhead space rather than ducted to each individual HEPA filter. The filters draw from the plenum to supply clean air to the room, while pre-cleaned room air returns upward for recirculation. This simplified layout reduces ductwork and supports efficient, consistent cleanroom airflow.
