304 Stainless Steel Sheet Construction comprises 18% chromium and 8% nickel

304 steel sheets offer better corrosion resistance than galvanized steel and have reasonable chemical resistance for most applications

304-grade stainless steel sheets are rigid, durable, long-lasting, and resist most biocides and hospital-grade disinfectants

316L Stainless Steel Sheeting is a low-carbon stainless steel for welding applications including marine, textiles, food / beverage, and other aqueous or corrosive environments

316 steel is better suited than 304 steel for areas with high chloride exposure, such as steel reinforcements or indoor/outdoor equipment that frequently interact with chloride, chlorinated water, road salt, or sea water

430 Stainless Steel Sheet Metal is characterized as having good corrosion resistance and formability

430 is similar to 439 grade stainless steel with marginally less chromium at 16% minimum content

These properties for 430 are specified for flat rolled products (plate, sheet and coil) in ASTM A240/A240M
