• Ideal for negative pressure processing down to -5”Hg (<20% vacuum)
Continuous-seam welds with radius corners simplify cleaning and reduce leak rate
Provides a clean, low-leak, controlled environment for various manufacturing processes
Included vacuum airlock and tilt-up tempered glass window facilitate parts transfer
Exterior LED light illuminates interior
Front transparent tempered safety glass window and LED light fixture provide safe and clear visibility of the work area.
INCLUDES:
Air lock mounted on left-side of glovebox.
Two 10" (254 mm) diameter ports for a wide range of motion.
OPTIONAL:
vacuum controls accelerate oxygen removal and backfill with inert process gas.
Select Trace Oxygen Analyzer and Dual Purge System to maintain oxygen levels to 1 ppm.
NOTE:
The gloves cannot be used under negative pressure since the port covers must be shut while the chamber is under vacuum. The chamber must be back-filled to atmospheric pressure before materials inside the glovebox can be handled.
Not designed as an air-tight containment chamber, nor should they be used with hazardous substances that require air-tight seals.

Features and Benefits
Negative Pressure ISO 5 Glove Box with Continuous-Seam Welds and Tilt-Up Window
A negative pressure glove box is designed for rapid removal of oxygen and backfill with inert nitrogen or argon to establish an anaerobic processing environment. Continuous-seam welds with radius corners simplify cleaning and reduce leak rate during vacuum cycling. The tilt-up gasketed window facilitates transfer of larger equipment that can't fit through the airlock.
Tilt-Up Access Window
Tilt-up front window allows transfer of large equipment into the Negative Pressure Glove Box; elastomer gasket provides a tight seal.
External LED Illuminator
Light fixture mounted outside the glovebox illuminates the interior and is easy to access. The hinged cover lifts up for LED maintenance or replacement.
Inert Gas Air Lock with Autoclavable Doors
BioSafe® inert gas air locks minimize nitrogen loss and contamination inflow when materials are passed through the glove box. The airlock is connected to an inert gas line to purge out ambient air before transferring materials through. The interior features seamless coved corners to simplify sterilization. The BioSeal™ door with blue urethane gasket is autoclavable.
High Caliber Hardware
Seemingly small details like latches, ports, glides and hinges are often overlooked or ignored by other manufacturers, and later become the point of costly recurring maintenance or equipment failure. Terra’s products are made of long lasting, cleanroom compatible, top tier hardware. Individual components are carefully designed and rigorously tested to guarantee the highest quality, durability, and craftsmanship.
Continuous Seam Welds with Radius Corners
Smooth internal surfaces and coved corners eliminate cracks and crevices that can harbor germs. Stainless steel resists biocides and disinfectants, won't corrode or particulate.
BioSafe®: Terra's Ultimate Cleanliness Rating
Terra's BioSafe products are designed for the most critical applications: no gaps and crevices where microbes colonize, rounded corners for easy disinfection, won't produce contaminants during sterilization, and exceeds cGMP, IEST, ASTM and ISO 14644-1 requirements.
Continuous Product Improvement
At Terra, we strive to develop and produce the highest quality products for our customers to improve health, safety, performance, and yields. Our product quality is enabled by high-grade manufacturing equipment and processes, 45 years of engineering and application expertise, and our commitment to continuously improve.
Comprehensive Service Provider
Terra’s portfolio of services includes white glove delivery, product installation, equipment certification, validation documentation, cleaning and disinfection services, engineering consultation, and structural seismic analysis

Glove Box Iris Port Adapter for 10" Ports
The self-closing, clean silicone Iris Port Adapter attaches to Terra's 10"-diameter glove ports to allow easy access to chamber parts and processes (order port separately).
Glove Box Stand, Powder-Coated Steel
Powder-coated steel stands are made of 1.5" (38 mm) square steel tubes to support loads to 400 lbs. (181 kg) and includes nylon leveling feet; positions chamber 30" above floor
Standard Duty Dry Vacuum Pump
Vacuum Ovens by Thermo Fisher are compact dry vacuum pump runs quiet and continuously. These pumps are suitable for applications for dry, moist or ethanol vapors.
Neoprene Accordion Sleeve Assemblies
Neoprene accordion sleeves with nitrile gloves allow fast glove replacement without removing sleeve; rigid neoprene sleeve resists blow-back (other glove styles available).
The eVAC Digital Vacuum Controller provides highly flexible control over vacuum levels by incorporating an electronically activated bleed valve, which adds the capability to reduce the applied vacuum.
Dual Purge™ and NitroWatch™ Work Together to Fully Automate RH Control
Terra's Dual Purge™ and NitroWatch™ operate in tandem to precisely and automatically control the flow of nitrogen and maintain a preset humidity level (from ambient to 0% ± 1.5% RH), no matter how operating conditions may change.
Data Logging with 113,000 Readings at User Defined Intervals
Terra's Smart® IsoDry® Nitro-Watch™ logs RH, temp, door open/close, purge on/off, and sensor removal/attachment. The max data file size is roughly 4 MB or 113,000 readings. This is approximately 32 hours of data when logging at 1 second intervals, 2 weeks at 10 second intervals, 6 weeks at 30 second intervals, or 12 weeks at 1 minute intervals. When the system reaches the 4MB limit, data begins to wrap, overwriting oldest data with new.
Plug & Play Data Logging
Plug in a USB flash drive to your Smart® IsoDry® Nitro-Watch™ to transfer data in .CSV format. No software required.
