- Two holes located in the middle of the filter enable aerosol injection and measuring aerosol concentration. If used on FFUs with built-in adjustable dampers, the center hole provides access to adjust the damper.
- This filter includes a room-side challenge port (RSCP) that enables in-place aerosol leak testing without requiring ceiling or ductwork access.
- The aerosol challenge port allows oil-based aerosol to be introduced upstream of the filter for scan testing and gasket verification.
- This supports compliance with USP <797>, ISO cleanliness classifications, and other standards that require periodic filter integrity testing
- Compatible with a challenge port kit for leak testing setup and optional filter backpressure alarm connection.
- NOTE:
- Customer must determine if filter leak testing is required for their application. This unit is not leak rated. If a leak test is required, units leak-tested to meet ISO 14644-3 are optionally available.
- All filter sales are final; returns cannot be accepted due to the sensitive nature of HEPA filters. Leak tested filters may qualify for limited replacement if a defect is identified upon delivery.
- Replacement guideline: The filter should typically be replaced when the pressure drop (airflow resistance) has increased to about twice the level of the initial level.
