Vertical Laminar Flow Design:
High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) Filter: Cleanroom-grade, 99.97% efficient at 0.3µm particle diameter. Optional Ultra-Low Particulate Air (ULPA) Filter: 99.999% efficient at 0.12µm particle diameter.
Meets or exceeds ISO 5 / Class 100 for cGMP, IEST, ASTM and ISO 14644-1 standards. Select optional ULPA filter for ISO 4/Class 10.
Positive pressure laminar airflow sweeps away particle contamination from the work area.
Vertical flow configuration fits a smaller footprint, encompassing less work space. It can also be easier to configure for tall equipment or processes requiring more vertical space.

Operation status indicator (OSI) light glows continuously when filtration unit is plugged in and turned on to confirm unit is operational. The OSI blinks when the unit is plugged in but switched off.
Recessed LED lighting and a hinged access shield allow for high visibility and easy sample introduction.
Low-noise WhisperFlow® FFU reduces background noise, registers under 50 dBA at 12" (305 mm) from filter face for easy communication and minimal disruption.

HEPA Fan Filter Unit with Integrated LED Light and Ionizer
FFU with built-in, flush-mount LED and ionizing bar provides HEPA filtered air and neutralization of static charges. Eliminates hard-to-clean, exposed light fixture and ion bar. Includes internal baffling plate and diffuser panel.
Exposure to loud noises can lower the ability to focus on work and listen selectively, which may also lead to safety issues. Typical AC units can be annoyingly loud, measuring in the range of 70 dB (comparable to a vacuum cleaner). Terra’s WhisperFlow design produces far lower noise levels for a quiet environment comparable to a library. At 90 ft/min output, units measure under 50 dB from only 1 ft away (roughly 75% quieter than 70dB).

HEPA Fan Filter Unit with Integrated LED Light and Ionizer
FFU with built-in, flush-mount LED and ionizing bar provides HEPA filtered air and neutralization of static charges. Eliminates hard-to-clean, exposed light fixture and ion bar. Includes internal baffling plate and diffuser panel.
Ionizer emits equal quantities of positive and negative ions to neutralize static charges within the work area, system requires no calibration or adjustments.

Removable Rear Plenum for Exhaust or Recirculation
An optional adjustable rear plenum mounts on the back wall of a benchtop laminar flow hood to exhaust or recirculate air (flexible ducting not included). Rear exhaust helps minimize turbulence and optimize laminar airflow in the work area.
Benchtop ISO 5 Vertical Laminar Flow Hood with Automatic Height Adjusting Table
Vertical laminar flow hoods provide a HEPA-filtered work area for protection from particle contaminants. Benchtop laminar flow hoods can easily mount to an automatic height adjusting table (28"-43"H). Perfect for workstations with heavy or fragile equipment.
Base cabinets are also suitable for supporting Terra Universal benchtop laminar flow or fume hoods. Use self-tapping screws to fasten the hood's frame to the cabinet's tabletop.
Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) system provides backup battery power to keep critical equipment running without interruption when utility power is unavailable. The separate system can be retrofitted to an existing 2’x4’ FFU. Stainless steel model available.
