These illuminators help meet safety requirements in applications involving flammable dust or vapor. They are ideal for use in a variety of work stations. Vapor-Proof Design Features Air-Tight Seal Models No. 2400-40 through 2400-49 feature a Static-Dissipative PVC sealed housing that resists a wide range of chemicals and also helps control static charges and the particles they attract. This material maintains a surface resistivity of about 107 ohms/square, making it ideal for use around materials sensitive to ESD (electrostatic discharge). Explosion-Proof Illuminator For Optimal SafetyThis incandescent hazardous-environment illuminator meets a broad range locations defined by the National Electrical Code (NEC): Class I, Div. 1 and 2 (Groups C and D); Class II, Div. 1 and 2 (Groups E and F); and Class III, Div. 1 and 2 (all groups). It is thus suitable for locations in which ignitable mixtures exist under normal conditions. It includes a mounting hood for easy installation in a ceiling panel or sealed enclosure. All models for 110VAC/60Hz operation (for 220VAC, add "220" to the cat., no.) |
