Job Description:

Terra Universal is growing and is seeking an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The right candidate is self-motivated with a positive and upbeat attitude. Operating within our advanced facilities, you'll collaborate with the engineering team and leverage cutting-edge tools such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, AP100US, and more.

Success in this role demands a strong problem-solving aptitude, dedication, and a solid grasp of advanced sheet metal, sheet plastic, and welding fabrication techniques.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate on the design, assembly, improvement, and troubleshooting of mechanical and electronic systems across Terra’s diverse product lines.

Assist in Solidworks/CAD Design tasks: Generate detailed drawings for customer approval and contribute to CNC programs for manufacturing.

Contribute to Factory Support: Participate in the development, enhancement, and maintenance of manufacturing processes. Gain hands-on experience with advanced machinery and robotics.

Work alongside cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of engineering designs and processes.

Required Skills, Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Proficiency in Solidworks and AutoCAD.

Familiarity with sheet metal and sheet plastic design and fabrication.

Solid command of Microsoft Excel.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing or design roles.

Physical Demands:

Walking and or standing for long periods.

Schedule/Location:

This is a full-time, in person position with flexible start times between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM. Our facility is located at 800 S. Raymond, Fullerton CA.

Pay: $32.00 - $40.00 per hour

Job Description:

This is an entry/mid-level inside sales and product specialist position. The right candidate is self-motivated with a positive and upbeat attitude. You will develop and manage relationships with Terra's clients and prospects, be responsible for achieving individual and team sales goals, follow-up on orders, and prospect/develop sales.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure client retention via responsive and proactive account management support
• Develop knowledge and thorough understanding of all products and services, and apply knowledge to provide appropriate recommendations/ solutions that meets client's business requirements.
• Establish and maintain executive level relationships in major functional areas of the customer organization. Utilize the relationships to develop strong revenue growth initiatives.
• Manage renewal sales process for existing customer base, including setting of expectations, changing needs assessments, negotiating contracts and processing of contracts via relevant internal systems.
• Follow up on all inbound client inquiries to uncover new and expanding sales opportunities.
• Maintain consistent and ongoing contact with end-users and decision makers.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree Required. Science degree preferred (Engineering, Chemistry, Biology). Copy of transcripts and diploma will be requested as part of job application.
• 1 year of sales or customer service experience preferred.

Salary, Commission:

• Salary depends on experience/qualifications
• Monthly and yearly commission paid to the Sales Associates based on metrics such as hitting individual and team sales goals.

General Job Responsibilities:

• Operate switchboard and transfer incoming phone calls to appropriate representative
• Talks to customers over the phone, email, online chat or social media to resolve their questions or concerns
• Maintains and updates customer as necessary on their existing projects
• Escalates cases to supervisor when necessary and appropriate
• Keeping records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints
• Supports all departments and performs many job duties involved with company operations
• Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support

Skills:

• Ability to handle high work volume (phone, case and order entry volume) in a fast-pace environment and stay calm in face of adversity
• On time attendance
• Spanish speaking preferred

Minimum Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED required; college degree preferred
• Minimum 2 years customer service experience. 5 years preferred.

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain tools and equipment to a professional standard. Keep the work station clean and orderly to retain a safe and operational work environment.
• Coordinate workflow with other members of the team.
• Execute particular welds in a professional manner, examine work pieces for defects, and measure work pieces with straightedges or templates to ensure conformance with specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints/drawings for welding process specifications.
• Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments using processes such as TIG and MIG
• Assembly of subassemblies

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent. 
• 3+ years of TIG Welding experience. Certification preferred. 
• Strong background in TIG welding on stainless steel and sheet metals
• Ability to complete sheet metal welding works with accuracy and precision.
• Ability to read blueprints to understand product assignment.
• Familiarity with welding equipment and workshop safety protocols.

• Requires minimal supervision to plan and schedule workload according to production schedule to meet manufacturing needs.
