Eight Configurations, One ISO-Rated Benchtop Flow Hood
BioSafe® Universal Benchtop Flow Hoods feature a modular design that can achieve eight different flow hood configurations built on a common frame. Choose from various in-stock designs to achieve virtually any type of vertical, horizontal, positive pressure, or negative pressure flow hood.
Turnkey systems include UL-listed HEPA fan filter units, durable and easy to sterilize stainless steel frames , and LED lighting. All system components are stocked and available for quick shipment. Certificate of compliance supplied with each order details ISO rating, UL listing and UL file number.

BioSafe® Whisper Flow Hoods feature a one-piece design free of cracks or crevices that harbor microbes and contaminants. Surface are easy to wipe down, resistant to alcohol-based cleaners and harsh biocides.
HEPA-Filtered Reverse Flow Fan Unit

Recessed LED Lighting Illuminates Work Area

Versatile Removable Panels

HEPA Fan Filter Unit with Integrated LED Light and Ionizer
FFU with built-in, flush-mount LED and ionizing bar provides HEPA filtered air and neutralization of static charges. Eliminates hard-to-clean, exposed light fixture and ion bar. Includes internal baffling plate and diffuser panel.
Recirculating Design Minimizes Turbulence
Recirculating ISO 5 vertical laminar flow hood exceeds Class 100 cleanroom conditions to protect your work area from particle contamination. The adjustable rear vents pull air back through the fan/filter unit mounted on top. Bench top hoods can also mount on top of base cabinets (sold separately) for easily accessible storage space underneath your workstation.
Adjustable Top Vent and Removable Rear Plenum
Recirculating laminar flow hoods feature an adjustable top vent to control the amount of recirculated air. The rear plenum is removable for cleaning and maintenance.
Long Running FFU Motors
Terra’s filter fan unit motors are rated for 5 years of continuous, 24/7 operation, if the HEPA filters are consistently replaced. To accurately monitor your HEPA filter’s saturation levels, purchase Terra’s audible and visual filter replacement alarm system.
Explosion-Proof Fan Filter Unit for Hood
UL-listed, NEC Class I, Division 1 Explosion Proof fan/filter unit provides HEPA filtration where solvent vapors, dust and other flammable hazards are present; all conduit and switches also meet explosion-proof requirements.
Explosion Proof 40W LED Light
UL-listed for Class I, Division 1 and 2, Groups C and D areas, this low profile LED light produces 3,600 lumens and operates from 120 to 277VAC, 50/60Hz. The heat-dissipating housing increases the efficiency and lifespan of the LEDs.
Explosion-Proof Power Switches
UL-rated explosion-proof switches are connected to the lights and blowers using specialized conduit with potted fittings. All electrical components are sealed to eliminate potential ignition points.
