To mount a Terra Universal laminar flow or fume hood on top: Use self-tapping screws to fasten the hood 's frame to the cabinet's tabletop.

Choose tabletop materials that match your application and budget:

Solid stainless steel tabletop is easy to sterilize. One-piece bull-nose rounded edges increase operator comfort and reduce particulate shedding caused by sharp or abrasive edges. Smooth, continuous-seam welds also eliminate cracks and crevices that can harbor contaminants.

Epoxy Resin tabletop offers excellent chemical resistance and durability to a wide range of corrosive chemicals.

Polypropylene tabletop offers a lower cost alternative to epoxy, also with excellent chemical resistance to a wide range of corrosive chemicals.

Static-Dissipative Laminate tabletop offers a lower cost alternative to stainless steel and Safely dissipates static charges (10^7 ohms/sq).

Non-Dissipative Laminate tabletop offers economical option for applications that are not sensitive to ESD. It is ISO 5 (Class 100) cleanroom compatible and resistant to common cleaning agents.

Cabinet uses magnets to keep doors firmly shut and reduce hazards of accidentally knocking into open doors. Doors can also be easily configured to swing in either direction.
