Fire-Rated Cleanroom Pass-Throughs

These stainless steel pass-throughs carry an independent fire-safety rating.

Their Warnock Hersey certification meets the requirements of UBC STD 7-2 (1997), NFPA 252 (1999) and UL 10C (1998), which calls for 90 minute fire exposure followed by a 20 second hose stream test. In addition, such components as the self-closing doors and optional polished fire-rated glass are independently fire rated.

Double-wall stainless steel construction ensures durability and cleanliness. Their smooth design eliminates lips that can collect particles or impede transfer of materials in and out of the cleanroom. Models are available with electropolished surfaces to meet the most stringent cleanroom requirements.

Redundant Interlocks Ensure Cleanroom Integrity
All models come with mechanical interlocks on a standard basis. These no-maintenance devices require no power or other service lines and are highly reliable. As soon as the handle on either of the doors is opened, the facing door becomes inoperable, preventing the possibility of cross-contamination.
