These panels can be mounted to filter/blower modules
to allow easy connection of exhaust conduit. Part number
includes installation on specified modules. Each flange
is 3" x the specified diameter.
Important Application Notes:
A flange restricts the flow of air passing
through the filter. In
exhaust fume applications, the minimum allowable flange
diameter is 8"!
An 8"-diameter flange
is provided standard on systems configured for exhaust
fume applications. Smaller diameters can impede ventilation,
reduce the effectiveness of exhaust purification, and
possible expose operators to hazardous fumes.
Be sure to specify
the correct quantity for your application. In positive
pressure applications, one flange per blower module
is required. In negative pressure (exhaust) applications,
multiple flanges are included in each blower housing.
Make sure to select
a flange material that is compatible with chemical
vapors that might be present in the air flow.
