It Goes!
The DesiCart™ is available in two versions (see facing
page for additional application-specific configurations). Each
houses a hermetically sealed desiccator storage chamber, which
maintains clean, dry storage conditions during parts transport.
Desiccators feature opposing access doors for pass-through
convenience, and every door is equipped with a locking latch
and key (see ordering chart for door configurations).
Quick connect/disconnect fittings (optional) enable you to
purge the system with nitrogen while it is stationary. Reinforced
door construction and gasketing provide air-tight seals that
maintain a clean, dry storage environment while the DesiCart
is in motion. The Automatic Relief/Bleed Valve (standard feature) relieves overpressures.
High-density polyethylene DesiCarts
provide excellent chemical resistance and include an integral
one-piece handle. Wrap-up rails make for safe transport of
materials carried on top of the cart, and corners are rounded
for easy cleaning. Each of these carts features four chambers
and includes chrome-plated racks.
304 stainless steel DesiCarts
feature a solid 304 stainless steel top and a two-chamber desiccator.
Chrome-plated wire racks mounted inside the desiccator allow
easy adjustment of optional 304 stainless steel shelving.
All models feature 5"-diameter polyurethane swivel casters
for smooth quiet operation and Class 100 cleanroom-compatibility.
Other stem casters are available.
Static-Dissipative PVC: ESD and Particle
Control
The DesiCart is available in either acrylic or Terra Universal's
transparent Static-Dissipative PVC, which features surface
resistance of between 106 and 108 ohms/square.
This durable material safely dissipates static charges that
can damage sensitive parts and also eliminates static attraction
of contaminants. It also resists a wide range of chemicals.
Note: Models
below feature chrome-plated racks and opposing doors for pass-through
access. The center panel includes slots to promate free circulation of purge gas.
This versatile DesiCart™ provides dual storage
chambers, each 16.5"W x 24"D x 37.75"H (clearance: 16"W x
24"D x 36.25"H). Chrome-plated racks allow placement of adjustable
acrylic shelves. In addition, a 10"W x 24"D x 37.75"H kitting
area, located between the storage chambers, allows convenient
placement of kitting trays on adjustable acrylic shelves.
Five-inch casters allow smooth rolling over a variety of floor
surfaces.
Overall dimensions (including hardware): 48"W x 25.5"D
x 49.25"H.

This DesiCart™ ensures clean, dry, secure transport of
delicate wafers. Its 6"-diameter spring-loaded casters provide
a cushioned ride, and ultra-clean materials of construction,
including electropolished 304 stainless steel shelves, ensure surfaces
that won't slough or outgas.
Perforated shelves ensure uniform gas distribution. Their
angled design keeps boxes securely in position during transit.
304 stainless steel door frames ensure tight seals and a long
service life. Overall dimensions: 50.88"W x 26.25"D x 38"H
(including hardware). Select Quick Connect Fitting and Automatic
RB®Valve for nitrogen purging (see previous
page). Shelf clearance: 11.25"H.

Electropolished
304 Stainless Steel Domed Cart
This ultra-clean cart features sliding acrylic access
door and a "dead man" braking system that prevents rolling
when unattended. The curved top assists in cleaning and
also prevents personnel from setting objects on top.
