These storage cabinets provide an economical alternative
to Terra's complete line of desiccators.
Clean, Durable, Economical
Like our desiccators, they feature advanced fabrication
techniques that reflect over a decade of experience in
plastics manufacturing. Their solvent welds, noncontaminating
gaskets and chrome-plated hardware ensure complete cleanroom
compatibility.
All cabinets feature double full-height access doors
that require minimal clearance space. The durable hinges
are spring-loaded and, together with gaskets, ensure a
tight seal and a clean environment for stored materials.
For critical contamination-control requirements,
select a model with an integral filter/blower module.
This unit, mounted to the top of the cabinet, features
a 740 CFM variable speed impeller that directs a continuous
stream of HEPA-filtered air downward through the storage
area. The HEPA filter is rated 99.99% effective at removing
particles 0.3 microns or larger in diameter (ULPA filters
are available with 99.999% efficiency ratings @ 0.12µm
particles). The unique plenum design of the filter/blower
housing ensures a uniform face velocity across the filter
and thus a uniform outflow of clean air.
All models with HEPA filter/blower modules feature
shelf perforations to allow air distribution throughout
the cabinet. They are available with either acrylic
or static-dissipative PVC doors (dissipative PVC offers
complete visibility in addition to dissipative characteristics
and excellent chemical resistance).
Options include 304 stainless steel stands that raise cabinets
4" off the floor for convenient access and cleaning.
Stands are available with and without casters. For optimal
strength, acrylic cabinets can be reinforced with adjustable
supports that enable shelves to support up to 100 pounds
each without bowing.

Adjustable Shelf Supports (for
Acrylic Cabinets)
These low-profile 304 stainless
steel supports allow shelves to support up to 100 pounds
each. Their retractable design makes installation easy,
and their low profile (.687") takes up very little storage
space. Typical installation requires two supports (one
in the front and one in the rear of each chamber). Price
includes installation.
