These economy gravity convection
ovens are ideal for most laboratory applications.
Compact, Rugged Design
Their compact size occupies minimal bench space, and their
tough construction stands up to the most demanding conditions.
They feature double wall construction, consisting of a corrosion-resistant
aluminum interior, 1" of semi-rigid, silica-based insulation
and enameled steel exterior.
Oven temperature is controlled by
a bimetallic thermostat with an indicating pilot light. A
mercury thermometer (not included) mounts in a vent in the
oven top. A preset high-limit safety thermostat, which provides
an important safeguard against overheating, is standard.
Model Nos. 3700-27 and 3700-28 feature
double doors, two fixed and two adjustable chrome-plated wire
shelves. All other models have a single door, one fixed and
two adjustable shelves. All 120-volt models come complete
with 3-wire cord and plug. 240-volt models are supplied with
a 3-wire cord only.
