- Measures velocity, volume, temperature, and humidity
without changing probes
- Faster key response, longer battery life, and simpler
operation than comparable models
- Microprinter provides hard-copy records of air velocity
and temperature tests
- Compact size and digital readout allow easy monitoring
of toxic fume flow
- Averaging capability simplifies comprehensive testing
- Telescoping probe lets you take readings in hard-to-reach
areas
The Deluxe ThermoAnemometer provides all the features necessary
for easy monitoring of both low-velocity air flows and air
temperatures in cleanrooms or in a variety of work stations.
Advanced Features Simplify Monitoring
Unlike many other, less advanced units, this microprocessor-based
device provides an automatic averaging feature, saving you
time and tedious hand calculations. All readings are stored
in memory, so you don’t need to keep count or repeat
readings; after the required number of readings, the system
automatically presents the average at the push of a button.
When air fluctuates or pulses, the CompuFlow® ThermoAnemometer
senses each fluctuation and provides the user with a rolling,
time-weighted average. You can also “freeze” all
readings on the digital display by using the HOLD/PRINT button—and
avoid “swinging needle” fluctuations and guesswork
that often lead to inaccuracy.
Readouts are indicated on the scale of your choice: temperatures
in degrees F or C, air velocities in meters/second or feet/minute.
A telescoping probe lets you take readings in hard-to-reach
areas without disturbing the air pattern—an ideal feature
for monitoring the flow of hazardous vapors under a fume hood.
Note: Probe must be held perpendicular to the airflow.
MicroPrinter™ Provides Hard
Documentation
The system microprinter provides instant documentation of
any desired reading. Each reading is printed on demand in
English or metric units as they appear on the display. The
readings are numbered for easy reference, and the average
is also printed at the touch of the HOLD/PRINT function button.
This feature greatly reduces the time necessary to take air
flow and temperature readings.
