Ergonomic sit/stands chairs for work while standing promotes a balanced posture by supporting the torso and hips. BioFit sit/stands are engineered to be the solution to reducing cumulative trauma and soft tissue problems that often are associated with jobs that require extensive standing.

Each of these sit/stands feature a pneumatic seat height adjustment, a forward-tilting seat mechanism (0º-6º angle) and a self-skinned urethane seat featuring a built-in handle and ventilation ribs. These chairs provide top performance in a variety of environments, including education, laboratory, cleanrooms, and healthcare. 

Two bases available on the sit/stands:

GX1 Base: Five-legged tubular steel base with 23” (584 mm) leg spread, 20” (508 mm) diameter attached footring and non-skid glides
GXT Base: 23” (584 mm) diameter round trumpet base is durable cast aluminum

GX1 & GXT Standard Features

Seat: 13”x13” (330 mm x 330 mm) black self-skinned urethane with built-in handle
Controls: pneumatic seat-height adjustment, seat tilts from 0º-6º forward.
