Model 5300: Unsurpassed UniformityThe new Model 5300 Validatable Accu-Sealer provides uniform, reliable seals without the need for adjustment of machine settings in a production run. Its complete process control capabilities make it ideal for medical pouch sealing and other critical applications. With fully lock out protected sealing process control, you have the confidence all seal process parameters are maintained Seal to Seal. Designed to meet clean room requirements and seals a wide range of medical packaging materials including plastic, Tyvek, Mylar, PET, Coated Tyvek, paper and plastic, laminated foil and metalized foil bags. The stainless steel construction of the sealer in combination with advanced sealing technology and state of the art process controls ensure performance in demanding applications.Standard built-in features include LCD Touch Screen and PLC that provides user-friendly digital control of seal temperature, seal time and release temperature. Additional features include password protection of all sealing parameters, a pressure regulator and gauge, and external calibration verification ports for temperature, pressure and time, and alarms for jaw obstruction, cold seal and open sensor. A safe low-force jaw close is provided as a safety feature. Production enhancing features include high force seal jaw, lower heat, 3/8” (10 mm) seal width, seal counter, product support tray, stainless steel enclosure with cleanroom friendly external exhaust port. A support tray securely holds the packaging film, and an electronic foot switch activator allows hands-free operation for faster loading and increased throughput. The operator initiates the sealing cycle by simply depressing the foot switch. This feature leaves the operator free to attend to other production activities until the sealing process is complete. The portable design enhances application versatility. At 25-40 pounds (11.3 kg - 18.1 kg), the Model 5300 is a workhorse but needs only a 25" x 10" (635 mm x 254 mm) surface, for 20"-W (508 mm) seal. The model 5300 is available in three seal lengths: 15”, 20”, & 25” (381 mm, 508 mm, & 635 mm). The 5400 is available in 20” & 25” (508 mm & 635 mm) seal lengths. Model 5400: Built-In Compressor for Plug’n Seal OperationThis Validatable Accu-Sealer gives you Plug 'n Seal, validated performance. Its process control features like the 5300 make sealing fast and simple.The 5400 has the same features as the 5300 with the addition of an internal air compressor for plug and seal performance, which is perfect for applications that require machine mobility. If your production needs change, the machine will connect directly to an external air source.
