Polypropylene Glovebox Isolator, ISO 5 Class 100 for USP 797 Sterile Compounding
This glovebox isolator is used in a USP 797 sterile pharmaceutical compounding. The main chamber maintains ISO 5 Class 100 HEPA-filtered conditions. Polypropylene construction is lower cost than stainless steel and offers excellent chemical-resistance and durability.
USP 797 BioSafe® Compounding Aseptic Isolators maintain an ISO 5, USP-797-compliant environment through HEPA filtration of main and ante chambers (polypropylene model shown with optional gloves and stand).
CACI or Class II Type A1 or A2 nuclear pharmacy isolators and laminar flow compounding aseptic isolators (CAIs) compliant with USP 797/USP 800 and ISO Class 5 as well as Class III biological safety cabinets for highly pathogenic samples.
The ISO 5 positive pressure antechamber isolates the main chamber from the outside environment and features a sliding glass door for easy transfer of compounding materials.
USP 797 BioSafe® Compounding Aseptic Isolators (shown in 304 stainless steel) feature HEPA-filtered, ISO 5 laminar airflow that protects sterile samples, an isolated antechamber, hanger rod and swing-up access door for easy cleaning.
Ergonomic LiftLatches and gas struts simplify daily cleaning of the main compounding chamber and transfer of bulky equipment. A one-piece, thermoplastic gasket seals when the panel is closed and latched.
The antechamber provides an intermediary HEPA-filtered space that prevents cross-contamination of the compounding chamber. A sliding glass door provides separation and maintains a pressure gradient.
