A stainless steel desiccator cabinet provides the best protection against moisture, most sterile environment, optimal protection against ESD, and greatest durability. For applications requiring the strictest low-humidity environments, stainless steel provides moisture-impermeable protection as well as corrosion and chemical resistance.
Stainless Steel Desiccators from Terra include designs with multiple doors, single- and double-walls, one to eight chambers, and RH control systems. Large double-door stainless steel desiccator cabinets are ideal for heavy duty storage applications of large, bulky materials.

High-capacity shakers are stackable on select models and provide a generous platform size that accommodate a variety of Erlenmeyer flasks and lab glassware.
Durable powder-coating protects steel housing and minimizes contamination; these models incorporate filters with aluminum frames.
304 Stainless Steel
Durable; resistant to corrosion, chemicals/solvents, and rust. Making it the preferred material wherever frequent cleaning and sterilization are required.
Stainless Steel
Stainless Steel is corrosion resistant, durable, and easy to clean. (see product details for specific Stainless Steel Grade)
Ideal for frequent use applications and maximum service life. Unique non-outgassing rubber “e” shaped gasket combined with robust door latches and rigid stainless steel construction provides a tight seal and maximizes service life.
Manual flowmeter or automated system controls nitrogen flow rates to maintain RH set point across entire cabinet.
N2-Purged, Cabinet Level
Dual Purge/NitroWatch controls nitrogen flow rates to maintain RH set point across entire cabinet. Sensors continuously monitor moisture levels and adjust nitrogen flow. Flowmeter provides manual alternative to automated nitrogen purge control.
Stainless steel or powder-coated steel, cleanroom-compliant stands easily adjust to fit industry-standard cabinets, desiccators, vacuum chambers, refrigerators, incubators and ovens. Raises equipment to ergonomic height to support disinfection and sample monitoring.
Stainless Steel Desiccator Cabinet with Racks and Shelving
All-stainless steel Series 400 Desiccator cabinets include stainless steel wire racks and a perforated pull-out shelf; order additional perforated or non-perforated shelves to suit storage requirements.
Automatic RB Valve
During normal operation, it allows a continuous low-level release of gas to maintain a positive pressure. It also functions as a check valve to ensure that air and contaminants cannot enter the enclosure in the event of a momentary negative pressure.
Data Logging with 113,000 Readings at User Defined Intervals
Terra's Smart® IsoDry® Nitro-Watch™ logs RH, temp, door open/close, purge on/off, and sensor removal/attachment. The max data file size is roughly 4 MB or 113,000 readings. This is approximately 32 hours of data when logging at 1 second intervals, 2 weeks at 10 second intervals, 6 weeks at 30 second intervals, or 12 weeks at 1 minute intervals. When the system reaches the 4MB limit, data begins to wrap, overwriting oldest data with new.
Nitrogen Generator with Gas Cylinder and Pressure Booster Module
Configure your Nitrogen Generator with a Booster Regulator to store 2-4 times more compressed nitrogen in a gas cylinder. The compact booster is air-only operation and requires no electrical power. Cylinders can be used as an emergency reservoir, or distributed to multiple locations without moving your nitrogen generator.
High Caliber Hardware
Seemingly small details like latches, ports, glides and hinges are often overlooked or ignored by other manufacturers, and later become the point of costly recurring maintenance or equipment failure. Terra’s products are made of long lasting, cleanroom compatible, top tier hardware. Individual components are carefully designed and rigorously tested to guarantee the highest quality, durability, and craftsmanship.
