The dished Chem-Zone™ Work Surface contains spills and features perimeter air-inlets that lead directly to the exhaust filter. Air captured within this zone will never be recirculated inside the hood, preventing the buildup of hazardous fumes.
Converting between Type A and Type B operation is simple. Connect ductwork and install the plate on the left side of the exhaust collar (as shown) for Type B exhaust. Remove the ductwork and install the plate on the right side for Type A.
The curved inlet grille provides comfortable support for the operator’s forearms while working within the hood. The airflow inlet pattern is designed to compensate for any airflow restrictions caused by the operator blocking the slots.
Labconco’s Purifier Logic+ series have perforations along the front of the hood, below the sash opening, that capture outside air before it can enter the work area within the hood (see Class II Type A2 and B2).
