Meteorite Nitrogen Chamber

This 304 electropolished stainless steel glovebox is configured for processing meteorite samples in a low-particle, low-humidity environment. Each system consists of two glovebox chambers linked by a pass-through air lock, which allows transfer of samples without affecting conditions in either chamber.

Stainless steel glove ports with hypalon gloves allow manipulation of samples. Stainless steel shelves mounted inside each chamber allow organized sample storage.

Terra’s Dual Purge™ and NitroWatch® control systems automatically regulate the nitrogen flow to the chambers in order to maintain a user set point between ambient and 5%RH.
