Labconco offers you a new line of Protector Filtered Glove Boxes for use with a variety of hazardous materials. These glove boxes have been re-designed to replace the Protector Multi-Hazard Glove Boxes. Protector Filtered Glove Boxes have a phenomenal particulate containment ability.

Quick Clean-up Time and Cleanliness

Protector Filtered Glove Boxes have a “fast clean up” time. According to a perimeter scan test, 0.05 ppm average tracer gas levels (or less) were detected after a 5 minute dilution. Airborne particulate cleanliness (measured under positive and negative pressures per ISO 14644-1 test method) exceeds ISO Class 5 conditions (equivalent to Class 100) and achieves ISO Class 4 conditions.

Three Models Featured for Protector Filtered Glove Boxes

The fiberglass-lined models feature inlet and outlet HEPA filters that have a 99.99% efficiency rate on particulates 0.3 microns or larger. It is composed of one-piece molded fiberglass for the liner. There are clear acrylic inner and outer transfer chamber doors for convenient viewing of materials in the glove box.

The stainless steel-lined models utilize inlet and outlet ULPA filters. These glove boxes have an efficiency of 99.999% on particulates that are 0.12 microns or larger. This model has Type 304 stainless steel liners, Type 304 stainless steel inner and outer transfer chamber doors, and the front panel is also comprised of Type 304 stainless steel.

The stainless steel-lined model also comes in the form of a double filtered glove boxes. It has a two operator capacity with the same attributes as the single stainless steel model. This glove box has wider outer and inner dimensions, designed to accommodate dual operators.

Protector Filtered Glove Boxes Also Feature:

Space saving inner and outer transfer chamber doors that pivot upward, and an interior left-hand side wall-mounted pass-through plug for on-site installation of an optional accessory such as electrical outlet, RS-232 port, gas/liquid port, or port for oxygen or moisture monitor. Additionally, there is an interior right-hand side wall-mounted electrical receptacle with a 10 amp circuit load. The glove box also comes with a pair of neoprene gloves, two 8” ID epoxy-coated aluminum, double grooved glove ports, and two 25-watt florescent lights.
