Designed for ducting of exhaust to in-house exhaust system, these Basic Laboratory Hoods feature a by-pass design that makes them ideal for use with delicate instruments that require a stable air velocity. As the sash closes, air enters the enclosure through by-pass openings at the top of the work area and below the curved air foil, which lifts off for easy cleaning.

A belt-driven motor with adjustable sheave overcomes a maximum external static pressure of .25"(6 mm) WC at 720 CFM (1223.29 m³/h), 100 fpm (.51 m/s). Includes epoxy-coated steel 10.31" (262 mm)OD exhaust connection and vapor-proof or explosion-proof incandescent lamp. Requires ductwork (to in-house exhaust system), work surface and base cabinet or stand. Right side fixture panel is factory-prepared to accept up to three service fixtures, one electrical duplex and one airflow monitor (kits sold separately).
