Terra's three sizes of maintenance-free membrane generators meet several capacity requirements are ideal for back-filling or continuous flow into desiccators, glove boxes, vacuum chambers and incubators.
Positive Pressure Isolation vs. Biohazard Containment
Terra glove boxes are designed as positive-pressure isolation chambers that operate with a continuous inflow of process gas and include bleed valves to relieve overpressures. Unless specified, they are not designed as low-leak or air-tight containment chambers, nor should they be used with hazardous substances that require air-tight seals. In containment applications, a glove box should typically be operated under continuous negative pressure, via a ventilated duct, so that any small leaks do not contaminate the operator or the environment.

External LED Illuminator
Light fixture mounted outside the glovebox illuminates the interior and is easy to access. The hinged cover lifts up for LED maintenance or replacement.
BioSeal™ Gasketed Access Door
Place equipment or supplies inside glovebox using this large left-hand access door. The urethane gasket ensures a tight, non-contaminating seal.
Internal Relative-Humidity Sensor
Optional RH sensor is used to monitor the internal environment, working with the Dual Purge™ and NitroWatch® control systems to automatically introduce nitrogen.
Inert Gas Air Lock with Autoclavable Doors
BioSafe® inert gas air locks minimize nitrogen loss and contamination inflow when materials are passed through the glove box. Data Logging with 113,000 Readings at User Defined Intervals
Terra's Smart® IsoDry® Nitro-Watch™ logs RH, temp, door open/close, purge on/off, and sensor removal/attachment. The max data file size is roughly 4 MB or 113,000 readings. This is approximately 32 hours of data when logging at 1 second intervals, 2 weeks at 10 second intervals, 6 weeks at 30 second intervals, or 12 weeks at 1 minute intervals. When the system reaches the 4MB limit, data begins to wrap, overwriting oldest data with new. -

This 304 stainless steel glovebox isolator is configured for processing meteorite samples in a low-particle, low-humidity environment. Each system consists of two glovebox chambers linked by a pass-through air lock, which allows transfer of samples without affecting conditions in either chamber.
Stainless steel glove ports with hypalon gloves allow manipulation of samples. Stainless steel shelves mounted inside each chamber allow organized sample storage.
Terra’s Dual Purge™ and NitroWatch® control systems automatically regulate the nitrogen flow to the chambers in order to maintain a user set point between ambient and 5%RH.
Radioactive Material Handling Glove Box

This 12-gauge 304 stainless steel isolation glove box is designed for safe handling of radioactive materials used in medical applications. It features two chambers connected by a vacuum port. Three-sixteenth-inch safety glass allows full viewing from the front and top. One-piece gaskets and heavy-duty counter-balanced port hatches ensure a low leak rate of 0.5% of the volume of the total enclosure per hour (tested under 5" WG of vacuum).
The chambers include flanges for connection to a ventilation system and utility ports for introducing power and vacuum service. Both chambers are rated for 10" WG vacuum. All seams feature radius corners for easy wipe-down. Removable glove ports allow fast glove change-out.
Biocontainment Isolators for Animals, Poultry, Veterinarians
BioSafe® Gloveboxes are suitable as animal isolators for various veterinary and animal handling applications requiring both operator and work area protection: sample collection, animal studies, veterinary compounding, bird and poultry handling.
Configurable for ABSL-1 and ABSL-2 applications, integral ULPA filtration supports aerosol containment of non-infectious, non-hazardous agents. Gapless 316L stainless steel construction and optional sloped bottoms with drain ports ensure quick cleanup of waste and byproducts. Dual-side access doors, which can also be outfitted as airlocks, allow streamlined control of specimen transfer without compromising cleanliness or sterility. Access ports are available with built-in integrated gloves, or with self-closing, clean silicone Iris Port Adapters for easy chamber access.
