Terra Universal’s Smart Pass-Through Chamber redefines the capabilities of a pass through by solving a host of challenges that hospitals and labs face every day Smart® Pass-Through Chambers by Terra Universal Terra Universal’s Smart Pass-Through Chamber redefines the capabilities of a pass through by solving a host of challenges that hospitals and labs face every day. When first introduced to the market, the pass through chamber had one-specific purpose: to reduce personnel traffic by providing a convenient means for sample transfer into and out of the cleanroom. With the Smart Pass Through, Terra has reimagined the jobs a pass through can perform by offering a menu of standard, add-on features compatible with every unit. These features are mounted external to the work area, so the integrity of the internal chamber is not impacted. Beyond sample transfer, the Smart Pass Through can disinfect products, log environmental conditions, track personnel or sample lots, streamline employee communication and add layers of security to your cleanroom.

Learn More: CleanMount Pass Throughs
The simplicity of this CleanMount clamping system makes removal of the pass-through chamber just as easy as installation. If the wall cut-out framing is properly sealed prior to installation, the pass-through can be quickly removed and replaced without ever having to shut down the cleanroom. Maintain the positive-pressure differential and protect the cleanroom environment by sealing off the "dirty side" with plastic sheeting prior to removal. Loosen the lag bolt so that the pass-through lifts out of the wall without contaminating the room. Once out, the pass-through can be serviced, modified, or even replaced with an upgraded version to accommodate new applications.

CleanMount Smart Pass-Through Chamber
Don't risk operational delays or cleanroom shutdown because of a damaged door!
Terra's pass-through chambers last indefinitely, much longer than our standard product revision cycle. Pass-Through doors, however, are subject to damage, and ordering a legacy replacement can be costly and disrupt cleanroom operation. To avoid these problems, order replacements at the time you purchase the pass-through chamber; simply add “-RH” (for right-side hinge) or “-LH” (for left-side hinge) to the part number of the chamber.CleanMount™ Design Allows Servicing or Replacement without Cleanroom Shutdown!

Durable Double Wall Construction
BioSafe double-wall construction triples unit lifespan and totally eliminates cleaning of accessories
Lift-Off, Non-Shedding Door Hinges
Non-shedding, barrel-type door hinges allow the doors to lift off for thorough cleaning and decontamination (no tools required). Unlike industry standard continuous designs, these hinges comply with strict ISO levels.
Smart® Cleanroom Pass-Through with Full-Glass Doors
Hygienic and damage resistant full tempered glass doors are specifically designed for healthcare, pharmaceutical, and GMP manufacturing applications to help achieve FDA compliance. The outside surface of the tempered glass door is frameless to minimize cracks and crevices where particulates or microbes can colonize.
Wireless Door Alert
Alarm bell rings when its assigned door is open (two bells per chamber); plugs into a standard wall outlet.
Easy Installation Simplifies Cleanroom Commissioning
Installing conventional passthroughs can be very messy, making it impossible to perform while a cleanroom is operational. Terra’s innovative CleanMount® fastening system changes that, allowing for clean installation without drilling or penetrating the cleanroom wall. Framing a CleanMount® passthrough chamber on a finished cut-out eliminates the need for cleanroom shut-down during installation or service.
Highest Standards For Electronic Components
Terra’s electronic components are designed and built to the highest standards required by defense and semiconductor industries for long-term reliability and protection against damage, injuries, and electrical hazards.
Products Tailored to Your Cleanroom Environment
Provide Terra with your desired ISO Grade design. We will tailor the product to meet your criteria and certify it with a report appended to your invoice. Certificate includes all the necessary information to streamline audits and facility compliance.
